📚 Bookworm Terms of Service
Last updated: March 7, 2026
Welcome to Bookworm. By using our service (the X bot @bookwormx402 and associated web pages), you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Bookworm allows X users to gift Kindle eBooks to other X users by tweeting a command at @bookwormx402. The sender pays for the book via Stripe; Bookworm fulfills the order by purchasing the eBook on Amazon and delivering it to the recipient's Kindle account.
2. Eligibility
- You must have a valid X (Twitter) account to use the service.
- You must be legally able to make purchases in your jurisdiction.
- You must only send links to legitimate Kindle eBooks available on Amazon.
3. Payments
- All payments are processed by Stripe. By completing a payment you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- The amount charged is the book price shown at the time of your request.
- Refunds are available if the book cannot be delivered due to a technical failure on our end. Contact support@bookworm402.com.
- We are not responsible for price changes between your request and payment.
4. Gift Delivery
- Delivery requires the recipient to claim their gift and provide a valid Amazon account email.
- We are not responsible if the recipient does not claim their gift within 48 hours.
- We only support Kindle eBooks — physical books and other Amazon products are not supported.
- Bookworm is not affiliated with Amazon or X.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to send unsolicited gifts or harass other users.
- Attempt to abuse, manipulate, or exploit the service.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We make no guarantees of uptime or uninterrupted delivery. Amazon and X are independent platforms and may change their services at any time.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
